I am considered to be very...idk, average, I’d say, where I live and the goth!Mikasa cosplay I did was purely because I love her so much and I happened to have that black outfit + all the accessories (didn’t even get to use all of them because sadly my sister wasn’t around for a full shot). I just...didn’t expect it to get as much love as it got. And honestly, I didn’t. Like at all. I just wanted that on my blog. That kind of thing.
So, I get back from university and there are all these notes and reblogs. I was very overwhelmed. It took me a while to actually acknowledge’ em tbh.
But! It made me really happy and I started thinking how I can cosplay some other versions of Mikasa while I try not to stray too far from canon since I have long hair and can’t buy a wig or sth...
Like her skirt outfit maybe. But I don’t have a red scarf...
I think Goth!Mikasa is my favourite modern au thing now thanks to Isayama and some art I just saw. Mikasa looks so cute!
