Better late than never!

When I was a kid, my parents wouldn't buy me any Hello Kitty items. Neither was I allowed to spend my pocket money on them because my parents deemed them overpriced and too easily breakable.

All the other kids in school had Hello Kitty and I was always so sad that I wasn't allowed to have any.

I'm 46 now and you know what? I just got the cutest Hello Kitty tote bag via a neighborhood app—for free! The kind neighbor just gave it away and when I got home and got to look at my treasure, I squeed like a little kid, all giddy with excitement.

It's the little things in life, y'know?
