So I’m a goth/alt. Since they were an infant, I sang a version of twinkle twinkle little star to my child that is spooky spooky little bat. I got it from a baby book that has a little bat finger puppet built in.

So my child knows that bat version just as well as the original and sometimes still wants me to sing it to them at bed time even though it hasn’t been a part of their bed time routine in years.

My child also wears Halloween themed stuff all year round and often prefers spiderweb/bat iconography on their clothes. Anyway it just makes me happy

Dying my hair purple for the first time in 12ish years. The kids are more excited than I am. I let them pick the color because I got bored of the black. Hopefully purple is office appropriate. Lol. They approved the death hawk, so why not a purple one? Right?

Baby boo's fallen asleep to EBM /futurewave

Been fighting nap all morning after a cat nap. Put on some EBM, danced with him for a few songs then put him in his chair. 15 min later he's out even with me singing. Good little spawn.
