S01E07 “Penguin’s Umbrella”

Sexual Tension Award: Let’s just say that Oswald and Mooney got into each others faces again and that I apparently have a thing for her calling him a bitch.

Favourite Quote: A tie between: “This Penguin is a nobody. You wanna start a war over the guy that carried your umbrella?” and Oswalds famous: “When you know what a man loves, you can kill him” because there’s just so much foreshadowing in that. Bonus points for: “There’s nothing more dangerous then an honest man” (this is a very quoteable episode, okay)

Favourite Scene: Jim getting stitched up at the uni is comedy gold but the scene with Fissh and Oswald at Maroni’s gives me chills. Bonus points for Penguin killing that henchman in the the most sexual way ever.

Least Favourite Scene: Omg I had completely blocked out how rape-y Butch is with Barbara...? Not okay and also… kinda ooc...?

Inherent misunderstandings about psychology: “Are you insane?” “Maybe a little.” Jim? Are you okay???

Continuity: VICTOR :D  Twentyeight track marks aren’t thaaaat many though. He’s either worse at his job then anyone knows or he only just got started. But anyway: INDIAN HILL GOT MENTIONED?In season 1? How did I forget about this?!

Level of episode title randomness: Here we finally are with the meta titles! Yeah! I guess the title refers to everyone being under Ozzies Umbrella/control which means that it’s not too abstract, so I’d say a solid 7/10.

Staby babs watch: Okay first of all she see’s someone die and seems to take it okay? And then goes to the mob to ask for a favour? That takes guts. Even Falone says so.

Costume design of the week: I know I have ignored Fish so far but this time she really killed it. Just look at her.
