okay but let’s recap. In a single scene:

Ed & Oswald bickered about Oswald being late

Oswald brought them lunch

they bickered about Oswald bringing a ‘guest’ at home without asking

Oswald making fun of Ed’s little bell invention

Oswald was like “I know you can do it bae”

they bickered about Ed being the only one doing work in this house

Ed being done with Oswald’s friend

and at the end of the epi they were all romantic with each other again. they truly are an old married couple.

Last night on Gotham 5x08:

ngl I miss early s3 Oswald being like this whenever Ed gave him a compliment

okay but I think that what Ed really wanted all this time was for Oswald to somewhat admit that he did hurt him. I mean we all can tell he cared less about IsabellAH and more about the fact that it was Oswald that killed her. And right up until now there was no acknowledgment from Oswald’s part that what he did, didn’t exactly make him a good friend. And well, this is the best apology Ed is ever gonna get (not that he doesn’t need to apologise too) because this is Oswald and he accepts him afksjajafkasf

Do you like the parallel between Oswald killing someone Ed loves and Ed killing someone Oswald loves. Robin and Andrew confirmed there were feelings between Penn and Oswald.

Ohh they did? I didn’t know about that.

Although I do think Oswald cared about him, I don’t think it was the same way as Ed cared (or thought he did) for Isabelle. And the motivation behind each ‘murder’ was different.

But I do like that Ed did it in front of him to save him. And it was interesting that Oswald was like “what the fuck??” at first but when Ed told him they accepted each other and that their friendship was great, he just went to 😍 once again and “we are meant for each other”, cause it just proves (again) that he still loves him. I do wonder how he would have reacted if Ed didn’t tell him anything like that
