Why is Spotify the superior music/podcast streaming platform??
I listen to a broad spectrum of music, but my autism seems to keep me in a loop or some would say hyper fixate when it comes to a song. This doesn’t happen for every song, it happens when i truly feel the song and can create a movie with the song in my head.
Spotify has adapted a genius idea where you go to your search and it gives you snips of a song as if it was an Instagram reel, Tik Tok, or Youtube short. You can instantly add it to your liked songs if you like it and if you dont you just scroll up. Not only that, it’s algorithm gives you hashtags that help you find new music within different genres. For instance ‘A Bank Robber’s Nursery Rhyme’ by Goodnight, Texas was under the genre gothic country. Never had i heard of this but loving folk music, rock, country, emo, and many more it made sense why Spotify set me up with this genre and playlist.
