And this, this is what I saw when I spotted you.

Complete tunnel vision and a whole vortex of a universe rushing at me, you took my breath away.

You were smiling and cracking a joke with some of our coworkers, you were the funniest man i ever met.

I spotted a deep complex soul, you were someone i already new when i spotted you.

Daggers to each others eyes we were smiling but we saw each others sadness and weren’t afraid to share it with one another.

We would sit and talk like the stars do, in your blue car that was smaller than you.

I love you, and i miss you.

You now sit and talk to stars like we use too.

I use to call you and ask you “guess what?”

Now, I look up,

I cross my arms across my chest and squeeze myself

And say “I miss you and thank you for protecting me”

our time line.

we were acquainted for about three years, became really good friends for two years following that and then we started dating one day and a month after that we knew we were the ones for each other.

It is crazy how the universe works.

Cherish the wonder of perfect golden warmth filtered through foliage. of flora paralyzed behind a phones case. of novelty, thirty years after catastrophe. The eye isn't the only gift, imagine: Sweetness after a spring rain. A brook who babbles serenity. Generous earth, forgotten afterfoot. There is a place where all exist together. A place that nourishes. A place that inspires. A place that calls to the soul. Need not permission to enter. Leave only gratitude to exit.
