As a psychology major and future psychiatrist (hopefully), I have decided that the most recent emotional trauma, because it indeed was a very tragic and traumatic event for myself personally, has traumatized me. I also think that I have a case of PTSD. I feel stress and anxiety when I think about what happened and the pain I have been dealing with. I am extremely sensitive to anything that reminds me of him and anything love related. I wake up at odd hours of the night and have trouble sleeping. I feel a loss of interest in most activities I would normally have loved to partake in. I am exhausted all the time. I have cried everyday, the amount has varied depending on how my day has been, for the past month. I feel paranoia towards my friends and am afraid everyone will turn on me one day. I think I have depression too. And the most prevalent symptom...is fear. I am afraid of the future. I am afraid that I will not better, even when school starts; I will just use school as an excuse to push everyone away and keep myself busy when in reality I am hurting and feel like I deserve an explanation for having to suffer a broken heart. And I also feel ashamed because the next person who would ever have the courage to be with me will have to deal with damaged goods and have to mend, fix, and pick up all the pieces that someone else threw away.
