Everyone had their limits, and as such, Tya was inclined to believe it was simple cockiness which she couldn’t at all blame him for- she’d find herself behaving similarly, especially in a situation in which she was coming out mostly unscathed as he was.
Under the assumption that he was behaving in arrogance, the maiden of fire was left to huff, a hand extending out to her side as it ignited in a flame, fully prepared to jump to his aid against the small hoard, the numbers of which he’d greatly dwindled on his own.
