#ForeverYoungAndDumb

You know, there are times where i am filled with fret. In 4 years time, i’ll will be hitting a milestone age-wise, and i sometimes go over in my mind where i missed out on opportunities, wrongs that i wanted to make right, and decisions that i wish i didn't make. Sometimes i wish that i had a time machine like the book by H.G. Wells or have a magical dagger like the Prince Of Persia, and go back in time to my 20′s and change a couple of things. Maybe id be a lot more better off than i am, i say to myself.

BUT TONIGHT WAS NOT ONE OF THOSE NIGHTS!!!!

I just got through having a conversation with a family member....and.....*sigh*

(what i was told) :

What started out as a sarcastic comment towards someone who made a observation about a sibling’s manners, and who in turn, this person, did not like the sibling, turned into full-blown, WWWIII war of words.  no mature communication. no civilized discussion face to face. Just The A-bomb on social media. smdh. 

I’m not about to get into the moronic back and forth, but to make a long story short, my family member was NOT at fault, yet them and their sibling are at odds with one another. And if other people didn't get involved in something that had nothing to do with them, the matter could have been understood more and resolved or wouldn't have been a matter at all.

This story made me realize that although i miss my 20′s and would like to change some aspects about them, there is one thing that i DO NOT miss: THE DRAMA!!!!

I forgot that we can be dumb as hell in our youth. and there are times that we can make hasty and emotional-driven decisions that can change lives---more so the bad and worse than for the good and the better. And even MORE worse is that some people get stunted in mind and still act like they were when they were younger or in their 20′s, doomed to never grown up and be an adult.

Albeit very entertaining and hilarious upon hearing, i was a bit sad that stupid-non-factor shit came in the way of my family members. I hope the smoke clears and they can get pass it, but this was the ONE time in my life that i was glad my 20′s are behind me, and that, in the words of a wise man, “i’m too old for this shit!” XD
