         seeing everyone in this state- it never failed to make him laugh. the celebration had lasted long into the early hours of the morning, and only a few people abstained from drinking- raleigh was one of them. walking to the mess and seeing all the groaning, squinting workers shuffling towards the coffee put a smile on his face. spotting someone familiar, raleigh grabbed his food, and sat down across from herman with a small sigh.

What part of your muse’s backstory makes you smile?

Anything involving his family to be honest - I had a lot of fun coming up with the little rag-tag band of young criminals that he calls his family. Particularly the relationship between him and Mia; the way they look after each other falls somewhere between mother-son and sister-brother and it’s always interesting to write. I wish I got to do it more often, if I’m honest.
