ATTENTION ANYONE WHO LIVES IN KANSAS

THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF GOV. BROWNBACK AND THE KANSAS LEGISLATURE For those who don't know, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has made repeated attacks against the education system, including bills like getting rid of all AP and IAP classes in PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS, there by decimating a student's chance at a decent college education unless they have the money to shell out for private school. And with the recent bill in committee SB513 (basically setting a $2500 bounty on trans students) a group of us have decided that this is where we take a stand. We are organizing a PEACEFUL, NONVIOLENT protest right on their doorstep. We are there to show them that we will not take this quietly, and that we are willing to make ourselves known and to do anything to stop this harassment of those who don't have a chance to do anything before it's too late. An important piece to this is the peaceful nature: yes, we are upset, but that in no way constitutes violence or aggression. We want to speak up and speak out, not get arrested. A date has not yet been agreed upon, but we have plenty of ideas and are completely open to more. OH MY FREAKING GOD! Everyone, I need to tell you something..don’t worry..not all of us Kansans are as stupid and ridiculous as Brownback. Thanks to him, Westboro is gonna have a great time living in this state.

So Brownback is screwing over our schools again and I just need to clear one thing up.. WE DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM!! I think I speak for all Kansans when I say none of us wanted him back. He was ONLY reelected because  the votes were split between the other candidates. If there had been only one person running against him, he would have lost. Instead of voting *for* someone, we were trying to vote *against* Brownback and that was our mistake. Seriously, get this clown out of here. Education should be the number one priority. I guess he needs more money to go on vacations...
