Our athletic season has ended. Over-all champs: basketball and table tennis, and several golds, silvers, and bronzes for darts, chess, scrabble, volleyball, hurdles, and badminton. It’s our best season finish yet! So proud of these scrappy kids who work extra hard because the competition is bigger and better-funded. Many of our athletes are scholars from developing communities, some working even after classes and training. I am very confident that with positive attitudes and work ethic they’ve developed early in life, they can make it out there in the big bad world. I really hope so.
Bad news for our HS girls volley team : 8-2, losing 2 straight games and in danger of being booted out of the final four
Good news for our HS basketball team: We’re IN THE FINAL FOUR! Semis tomorrow.
Our medal haul so far: Table Tennis-3 golds, Badminton- 2 silvers, Athletics-2 golds.
We are hosting the high school girls varsity games.
