What tablet do you think is great for beginner digital artist on a budget?
Hi there! I haven’t had an opportunity to try many drawing tablets—I have used Wacom Bamboo Pen, Wacom Intuos 4 (medium), and an iPad w/ procreate. For the work I do, I find that the Bamboo Pen is really solid! I love the size and it doesn’t come with a bunch of buttons that I don’t know how to use haha. If I recall correctly, it should be about $80-100USD brand new, but totally go for a refurbished/used one that says it’s in good condition! Should be a decent ~$40USD.
I personally would splurge for a new one because I do frequently use my bamboo even now, 10+ years since I started working digitally and I still feel it’s the best bang for your buck ☺️. Hope that helps!!
