5 Things You Don’t Need For Yoga
As part of our Go Fest this Saturday, we’re offering you the opportunity to try yoga for the very first time. Like all our Go Fest sessions, it’s totally free of charge. If you’ve never tried yoga, don’t be put off by any preconceptions you may have. All you need is your body and your mat.
Things you don’t need for yoga:
1. Fancy leggings...or a strappy top...or special socks...or a post-yoga hoodie. All you need is loose clothing that you feel comfortable in.
2. To be super skinny...yoga is for all shapes and sizes, for men and women, for the very young and the very old.
3. To be able to tie yourself in a knot...when we do yoga we call it our yoga practice; over time we can do more than we could when we started. Some people want to work on strength, some on flexibility, some on their core, some on their mental wellbeing. That’s the beauty of yoga, there’s something for everyone.
4. Lots of time...our taster session on Saturday is just 30 minutes long; our regular classes are around an hour...it’s not long out of your day and will leave you feeling refreshed and empowered.
5. A friend to come with you...walking through the door for the first time can be tricky, we know that, so at Go Yoga we are set up to be super friendly, informative and non-judgemental.
So come as you are. Try our Beginners Yoga at 2.45 this Saturday. It’s free, it’s only half an hour and we think you will love it. Let yoga into your life, you won’t regret it.
