Severe case of gastrointestinal hypomobility, more commonly referred to as G.I. Stasis. Guinea pigs are funny. If they're not eating or pooping, they're probably pretty sick. This little one had a hx of inappetence for 3 days and was no longer producing stool at this point. We only obtained a VD radiograph because she was so bloated and uncomfortable. She was treated with warmed SQF and we hospitalized her for a couple days till she was eating better and began producing stool. She was sent home with motility drugs and pain management with a force feeding regime and a new diet plan. She did make a fully recovery.
