Lux: Gray?
Minah: It’s light gray.
Eunha: It’s gray.
Kyunghee: Now tell them what color you think it is.
Qian: *quietly* Dark white…
“ you say you’re numb inside .. but i can’t agree. ” (jimin, when he found out he was a snake)
Jimin didn’t get it. Sure, they were friends- but Jaehwa didn’t really know what friends were. What did it mean to be a friend? No one had ever tried to be a friend to him, even when he needed a friend more than anything else in the world. It was part of the reason why he was so detached and calloused now, except when it came to certain people. Weaknesses. “You don’t know what I’m really like, Jimin. I could break you beyond repair, if I was so inclined. You should be thankful that all I did was deceive you,” he spits, words venomous. It was funny how Jimin assumed he knew anything about Jaehwa at all. How could Jimin possibly know him when he didn’t even know himself? “I don’t even feel bad about it.”
[text]: I need you to be best friend brutally honest about whether or not I can go into public like this.
[text]: Well, if you’re asking whether or not you look like a whore, the answer is yes.
[text]: But I def think you should go out looking like that. It’s a good look on you.
What turns you on?
“mm, praise? i just really like to be praised. on the other hand.. i think i’d like being humiliated if i was close enough with whoever is humiliating me? i am still a virgin though-- i don’t actually know if i’d like to be humiliated but.. it’s something i’m willing to try!”
“If your aim was any worse, you’d be shooting yourself.”
They had traveled a ways away from Seoul in his van, spent several hours driving to get far enough from the city and into the wilderness. They didn’t need all the gunshots to attract unwanted attention from the police- and there would no doubt be a lot of them, seeing as he wasn’t the best shot. But he chalks it up to having no experience handling a gun, wants it to be something he can improve upon. Guns had always made him nervous. But even if he wasn’t in a gang, Minseok would be having to handle one eventually whenever he enlisted. When he thought about who a good mentor would be- someone who could school him on how to be more .. lethal, Minah was the first person who came to his mind. He had the luck of never seeing her in action, but he knew Minah was skilled and good at what she did. At killing. The thought of it still made his stomach twist with anxiety, but Minah was his friend- and he knew she wouldn’t hurt him. Not on purpose.
“I’m not that bad,” he says, but isn’t entirely convinced himself. This was the third round he’d fired at one of the aluminum cans they had set up, missing each time. Minseok had good eyesight, so it wasn’t that he couldn’t see the targets clearly- he was just still beaming with nervous energy. He had to relax. He lowered the semi-automatic pistol in his hands, letting out a soft huff of breath before he turned to look at Minah. “How do you do it? I mean, in general. I’m not used to the recoil.” This wasn’t his first time firing a gun. He’d been driven to shoot some of the Snakes’ underlings when they had come to raid the Outlaw Bloods, but he hadn’t picked up a gun since. He kept a knife on his person at all times, and whenever one of his more desperate customers threatened him- because addiction was a powerful thing and some of them would do anything to get their fix, he would quickly pull out his knife and dared them to try him. Luckily, none of them ever had. But that didn’t mean that someone more threatening than a crackhead wouldn’t. “..And everything else, I guess. It’s hard to get over the idea that I might be killing someone’s son, brother ... boyfriend.” The last part was muttered under his breath, thoughts flicking to Deokhye. He had never had so much to lose before.
