Sera: I think we may have found the root of your problem. You have mother issues.
Lux: Yay! I have mother issues!
Sera: No, that’s bad.
Lux: Aw, I have mother issues.

Minah could go on and on about how she didn’t care about what was happening, she didn’t care that there was an approaching war going on between the gangs or how it would be harder to hang around her friends who could be potential gateways to a long scolding from Kyunghee. But realistically, she didn’t care much about that because she trusted her friends. And most of them weren’t like that, they weren’t made for this. It wasn’t something fun for them. It was just circumstance. Like Lux. Except maybe it was more than just boiling it down to simply, circumstance. Minah wasn’t used to Lux. It wasn’t like they were best friends and Minah liked to reserve that spot for Hyemi regardless. But the thing that bothered her was that they weren’t close at all. She would usually nod at him and others, not bothering to say anything more than that. Or some days she’d come back with something sweet and decide to share with the whole of Ivory Hand. But it was never something more than that. They weren’t close and none of her actions could be seen as anything more than just her getting along with her teammates. That was until that day at the bar.
Minah saw something in him that she’d never seen in anyone else. And maybe at first it struck pity in her because she was a fucking human being and it was nature to be pitiful of others. But at some point she decided that he didn’t want her pity and she opted with dividing her attention for the smallest moment just because he was her gang member and she cared. He didn’t to be in the best state of mind and she wanted to do something for him. Even if it wasn’t much. She couldn’t just leave him. Still, he ended up in the hospital and there was nothing she could have done to stop it. No matter how much she tried to prevent it from happening. The least she could do was visit him. Everyone had at least stopped by in the last few days and she was left to actually show her face. But the truth was that she was freaked out. By what he had told her and the look in his eyes. Would it really be okay? She didn’t know if he wanted to be reminded of that night. But she also didn’t want to live without not at least looking at him.
It would be fine, right? It wasn’t like it was her fault he ended up here. But she couldn’t exactly stray away from feeling guilty. She was maybe a little too ignorant when it came to whatever he was going through and decided to be blunt and insensitive when she didn’t even get it at all. Overall, she was fucked and decided it wouldn’t be too bad to get fucked some more. It was only going to be a short visit anyways. She’d pop in and see his face, say some shit he didn’t really care for and desperately avoid any mentions of the night at the bar. Maybe they could gossip about all these shit going over with the gangs and then she could leave. She brought one of those little cakes she usually did when she would notice the newer members practicing for hours on end. She would tsk, was it really that hard to handle a gun? Before shoving the small bag into their hands so they could take a break.
With the usual scowl she held on her face she walked into the room of the same person she couldn’t stop worrying over. A feeling she wasn’t too used to (only with Jaehwa, who wasn’t here for her to worry about. Didn’t mean she ever stopped). “Hey...” She decided on greeting in a small voice. Plopping down into the chair facing his bed. “Brought sweets, ate one on the way. How you doing?” She brushed a hair away from her face.

Kyunghee: *points to Qian's shirt* What color is Qian's shirt?
Lux: Gray?
Minah: It’s light gray.
Eunha: It’s gray.
Kyunghee: Now tell them what color you think it is.
Qian: *quietly* Dark white…
Dohee: Here is my wall of inspirational people.
Lux: Is that a picture of you?
Dohee: Yes. I am big enough to admit that I often inspire myself.

When news got out about Lux Hyemi didn’t know what to think. Her body was moving by its own accord before she could even really process what was happening. As someone who always tried to be rational and composed, this state of frenzy was a rare occurrence for her. Hyemi couldn’t believe it. It had been a car accident, but the report showed that Lux had willingly walked into incoming traffic. What had driven him to this point? Why hadn’t she noticed sooner? When it came to Lux it seemed like she was always one step too late. When Hyemi arrived at the hospital the receptionist had taken one look at her and given her his room number. The young woman didn’t know what kind of state she would see her friend in, but she had to at least make sure he was okay. She took a moment to mentally prepare herself before knocking on the door. “Prasit? It’s me, Hyemi. Can I come in?” she asked, trying to stay calm but her voice had forsaken her.
Lux: Are you as bored as I am?
Eunha: I was as bored as you, but then you showed up. So now I'm even more bored.
