As for really good artists who do cool black and white backgrounds, Sean Gordon Murphy is one of my favorites. His stuff for Punk Rock Jesus is really solid all around.

Heheheh Sean Gordon Murphey is one of my ink idols xD Him and Bill Waterson made me fall in love with black and white art. PRJ IS beautiful but I kinda prefer his older, more cartoony but cleaner works... Off Road might be less impressive but I’m always going back to it for inspiration, it speaks to me more.

I've never drawn Murdoc and I have no idea why, as I seem to spend most of my time drawing dirty-ass pot-bellied peeps anyway.... I'll give it a go!
