my george russell short shorts theory is that his waist is so itty bitty that the only shorts he can comfortably wear without worrying about flashing everyone barely cover up his legs

the thing about george is that it's pretty fucking clear that he does NOT photograph well when he's posing. he looks tense, uncomfortable, very mannequin-like even in professional photoshoots---overall just astonishingly bad compared to how he looks when being photographed/filmed in a more candid manner. and even when he isn't trying to "seriously" pose, he still looks the best when he doesn't know that he's on camera at all.

now i'm not making any statements here, but (from my own experience) whenever neurodivergent people get a camera pointed at our faces, the only thing we can think about is whether or not we look real and normal in a real-and-normal human way. we're constantly adjusting our expressions or trying to mimic the energy of the people around us, and still we end up coming off as stiff, or fake, or flat.

and then we get confused about why people are calling us "fake" when all we did was try to act like real and normal humans do, which sounds a little like someone on the grid who's name starts with G and ends with eorge Russell

Let my mum watch the end of the race & podium with me, and she was asking questions about why some cars went that way and not the rest of them and who Gunther Steiner is, and as I’m trying to explain she butts in with “oh he’s very handsome isn’t he?” “He could be an actor, he should be James Bond!” everytime George showed up on screen
