Different approaches to character creation in video games, as told by me and my girlfriend:

Me: Hm, I think I‘ll play a rogueish character this time...with a twist. How would they dress? What might be fun to draw later? I really like this hairstyle but is it *actually* practical for a character in this line of work? And I mean I dig the smoky-eye look but let‘s be real, would they *really* bother—

Girlfriend: i can give her cat eyes aND LIZARD SKIN???

Girlfriend: *sticks with mohawk kitty lizard the entire game*

Me: *constantly makes new characters and practically memorizes the first 10 hours of gameplay while having no first-hand knowledge of how the game ends*

Not to rant too much about life things but lemme tell ya’, I am so, SO over this whole moving business like

The packing itself is nbd--there’s a lot of it to be done but whatever--but finding a new place has been its own sort of hell and it feels like the landlord of this place we might finally have is dragging the process out as long as humanly possible and I’m almost wondering if he’s doing it so that whatever final rent he throws at us we’re forced to just accept because we have to be out of our current apartment by the 1st of the month.

My girlfriend and I are already making backup plans if that’s the case and I feel vaguely nauseous from how much this whole situation is stressing me out. Like yeah moving is stressful to begin with but legitimately objectively speaking it has never been this stressful for me and I’m just. Very done.

SO This weekend was jam packed with stuff, but we’re all moved in to our new apartment! Whoo! There’s just...so much unpacking left to do. But the living room is coming together nicely so far at least. :)

I also might have taken a break from moving shenanigans Friday to finally--FINALLY--get my first tattoo. For May 4th no less. :D (ARTIST: Huka @ Timeless Tattoo)
