this one made me sooooo nostalgic for the volume 1 hype, and it made me realize a lot of my canon-based volume 1 fics were very mike pov? so, it was a lot of fun to explore will’s thoughts throughout this for (i think?) one of the first times! i tried to keep this very general so that way it could still lead into the canon compliant conversations that occur later in the season.
