I really like the dynamic of Wyatt and Judd (and Grace) it’s really lovely but I reaaalllyyyy want to see more of Grace and Judd with Charlie. We see it of course because she’s a baby and they’re her parents but we don’t really see scenes where they’re bonding with her and just cute little baby milestone moments that just show them being excited parents. I feel like they had her and now she’s just there (and I get it because she’s a baby) but we don’t see them having these kind of scenes like they do with Wyatt and Judd. And I get it because of the background of how Wyatt got here but I’d like to see more cute scenes rather than little moments with Charlie and Judd and Grace if this makes any sense at all. They probably will later down the line but I wish they would sprinkle scenes here and there like they’ve done with Wyatt. He’s a nice kid and his relationship with Judd (and Grace) warms my heart but I wish they would balance it out more

Yeah, the Wyatt plotline is not my fave as a concept, but the relationship has been endearing and has brought some good moments. It is hard to a lot of scenes with babies, like you mentioned, so I get why we don't get all those scenes, but they would be cute to see. And I do agree that we'll get more down the line. And we haven't had too much Wyatt, really, but he's obviously had more screen time and has been a more integral part of plots. I think they've shown Charlie's presence pretty well in general so you've felt her role in Grace and Judd's life and how it shifts things (like when Grace and Carlos are working we know that Charlie is there, but they didn't have to use an actual baby lol).

I feel like they could have waited to throw the whole I have a seventeen year old son I never knew about storyline on us. Grace and Judd JUST had a baby and we haven’t even see Judd bond/be a parent with her yet. Obviously we know he’s doing that offscreen but we haven’t seen it. And then they throw this on us. I’m not saying it’s bad I just feel like they could have waited a few episodes but maybe that’s just me. I like the way they’re writing their relationship it’s sweet but it’s just so sudden right after they just had Charlie. And maybe I’m silly but I still don’t think he’s Judd’s son. I think they’re building their relationship up and then they’re gonna find out he isn’t Judd’s son. I mean I probably am silly because the DNA Judd had on that website is his DNA but people have submitted their DNA to those kind of sites before and been connected to people that the site said/suggested was family but they actually weren’t. Idk I probably sound stupid because DNA doesn’t lie but honestly if some kid was like hey I’m your son lol I would still take a paternity test. Not to be mean but I would just rather be sure than not - you know? The storyline is fine but it’s just so sudden to me right after they had Charlie

Yeah, again this is an instance where some of the outcomes of the plot are good but I don't like the plot itself. It's like with Tarlos breaking up; yeah, I think they did a good job with the plot, and I loved the episodes, but in no way was it a type of plot I would choose!

I'm also team always take a paternity test if you aren't sure and a random son comes into your life, but I do think Wyatt really is Judd's son, and I think at this point, they're all pretty sure about it because all the factors line up, so it's not just Wyatt showing up being like the genetic tests shows you're my father.

And I do love Wyatt and the way that he and Judd interact, and also seeing Grace open up to Wyatt has been heartwarming, so I can deal with the storyline, but it's certainly a step more in the soap opera direction than I love for a show like this (like the Gwyn and Owen baby plot)

This is kinda a follow up to the prev anon (the nurse) and while I know "hollywood healing" is a thing but it would be nice for them to at least acknowledge the complications and after affects of these traumatic events occurring

I totally agree. It’s nice to see some acknowledgment. Like they did a great job giving Grace a recovery plot. Because it showed that she wasn’t just instantly better and how hard both physically and mentally it was.

Okay but what i want from s3 is grace/judd and tk/carlos as friends. i can see tk and grace being friends and teasing judd, and judd and carlos getting along maybe cooking together. Honestly i can see all 4 of them getting along in all the diff ways, i just really wanna see grace and TK together and their dynamic yk?

Anyone who has not become friends yet, must be come friends. That's the rules I'm setting for season 3. I usually think more about Carlos/Grace being friends and then Judd and TK being brothers. But I also love the dynamics that you're pointing out here. Like we can and should have all of the above. You are so right about seeing all four getting along in diff ways. And I think that's how relationships are in real life. Each one is different and has different vibes, but they all still work!

Lone star writers, don’t. Just don’t. Don’t tease us with a Grace and Judd baby then throw them over a fucking bridge 😭😭😭😭 we have been wanting this all season and then that happens like dude lmaoooo but nah it’s season 2 still so I’m not expecting them to kill anyone off. 9-1-1 is on season 4 with all their main characters soooo... I know it’s a different show but still. If they decide to have Grace badly hurt or worse, then they might as well get rid of Judd too because he would be literally inconsolable and he would probably just wanna d*e himself and quit his job to be a sad depressed hermit and yeah we don’t wanna see that. He would blame himself and he already feels bad about losing his team but this is his WIFE soooo 🤨🙂 can we not go there and just have them both make it

It’s really fucking rude of them. While I don’t like it, I guess it does make good TV and I’ll do anything to see the Judd/Grace content that we deserve. I don’t they’re going to die. I feel like it will be more like serious hurt but nothing they can’t shake off after one episode (because all characters magically heal after one episode naturally). But if they did do it, it would be so depressing and so much struggle like NOOO. I only want angst that is resolved! These thoughts you have are so SAD. Please relieve yourself of these thoughts by writing a nice angsty fic skaklalw

Ive seen people start to speculate about the second half of lone star. Most seem to think that Grace and Judd will make it out alive and maybe Grace will find out she’s pregnant (while still at the hospital recovering or in the finale). And also TK moves in with Carlos. I honestly think that Grace and Judd will both make it. They’ll be traumatized and hurt but I think they will be alive and be rescued. They’re still in s2 so I doubt lone star writers are trying to kill anyone off. I joked about this on another blog but this isn’t a Shonda Rhimes Production lmao they aren’t gonna kill off our faves with no warning. I respect Shonda as a creator and showrunner but it pisses me off how she (or the writers of her shows) does it so much lmao. But anyway back to lone star- they’re still in s2 so I doubt they will kill anyone off. And I mean not to compare to 9-1-1 but I can’t help it sometimes. 9-1-1 still has all their main characters alive. They have all been through hell and back, but they’re all alive and it’s s4 for them. I would be kind of annoyed if lone star pulled the trigger and decided to k word one or both of our faves. Grace doesn’t get enough screen time and Judd has already been through enough it would just suck to see that be his end. But I don’t think this will be the case. I think they’ll both make it but it will be an episode that maybe has us anxious until they’re pulled out and recovering in the hospital

I feel certain that no one is going to die in 2x09. I would bet everything in my checking account on it, which is not that much, but still! I really don’t think they’d kill them. They’re just trying to be dramatic in my view, and they’re doing well at it. You are so right lol. This is not Shondaland. We’re not watching how to get away with murder or the likes. And yeah, there’s really no need to kill anyone off, especially main cast members. They also just killed Tim, so they can’t be too heavy-handed with the death button. It would be crazy if they went the kill route, and I’d probably rage for weeks, but I honestly have not a single fear that they will do that. Normally, I am an anxious person, but I feel so zen and confident in Grace and Judd’s survival lol. Perhaps, I have too much hubris in this assertion lol, but I’m sticking with it!

A fear: Judd and Grace both survive the crash but complications with her injuries mean that Grace isn’t able to have kids

I am not worried about this because Grace and Judd will be parents someday, and there are always other options out there to give them kids! They’d definitely be a good home for adopted kids or they could foster kids. They have a lot of love to give and I’m confident they’ll give it some way.

ANYWAY!!! I’m so tired of thinking about the pregnancy storyline lmao let’s talk about queen Grace Ryder I love her so much 🥰❤️

RIGHT! She did so well, and I’m so glad that she was able to communicate with the abused woman so well because she really did use her brain on that one and she always does on the calls we see which I adore so much. She also handle the situation with her dad as well as she could have. Like she didn’t even yell at Judd when she very easily could have taken her upset out at him. There was obviously a distance between them but keeping the secret from her mother shows that Grace knows what Judd went through with the secret. So there’s just a lot with that storyline that I found so interesting and that gave us more insight into Grace.
