"My sister, my baby sister." Tony muttered out loud to himself. Not that he realized he was by himself. He’d been complaining ,for the past 48 hours, to anyone that would listen about his most current issue with his sister and his best friend.
Pepper had given up trying to reason with him after the first 12 hours. Rhodey had stopped trying to call after day one; he'd debated on just showing up but Pepper had advised against it. She'd said she wanted to avoid a fight and the inevitable mess it would leave. She neglected to mention Hawkeye had already been placing bets on the winner of said hypothetical fight, and she didn't want to give him the plasure of winning. Steve had stuck it out the longest; attempting to talk some form of sense into him, although he’d snuck quietly out of Tony’s workshop about twenty minutes prior, leaving Tony alone with his ranting.
It wasn’t like it did much good, Tony would still talk with or without an audience.
