Better Living Through Alchemy
Grace was doing a test run of the demonstration she planned to do with her alchemy elective the next day: a simple blinker stone. As it was still early in the year, she was still covering the basics–she would be using the blinker stone to introduce the class to the concept of imbual, which was at the foundation of enchantment.
Just as she was directing the stone's flame to expand, but cool, thus becoming a pure light source, she heard a knock on the door.
"Come in!" Grace called, not looking up–she had to stay focused.
Tea and Complaints
Grace flopped into the arm-chair with a sigh, miraculously not spilling her earl grey.
"So," she turned to the other woman, "How are you holding up thus far?"
