Summary:

It had to look real, this op. This band that wasn’t a band. They couldn’t blow their covers- they’d had to record an actual album for release, and Mike thought it was a damn good one.

The process had almost killed him, but the album was coming together.

Or, the one when the Graceland agents are undercover as a rock band in order to bust a cocaine ring running in the underbelly of the music world. Which would be a lot easier if they didn't have an ungodly amount of interpersonal drama between them. And an album to record, of course.

Oh my god I know!!! Aaron's A+ acting again! He goes from "oh shit I'm gonna die. He's gonna shoot me." And Sid was gonna 100% shoot him, did you see that grin on his face!, but then Paige shows up in the nick of time (and god I fucking hate her so much and this doesn't change anything) and his expression changes to "ha! You can't do it now you ass!" ALL IN A SPLIT SECOND!! God I love Aaron Tveit so much. But I think it's the expression right after this that KILLS me!! This one:

I’ve been watching Graceland lately, and I’ve got some ranting to do.

So I’ve seen a few episodes before (yes, I just watched the whumpy bits lol) but I finally decided to sit down and watch it in full and, while it is an AMAZING show, the way they treat my man Mike...it’s honestly upsetting.

Was he pretty douchey with the whole bus mission? Absolutely. But he was running a high-pressure operation with a lot on the line and the FBI breathing down his neck, and the whole team was fighting him at every turn. Not to mention Briggs is kind of a shady asshole the whole series through and no one ever treats him with the disrespect and disloyalty they treated Mike with (I mean, Paige literally got him KILLED) Give the man a break ya’ll.

Also, it’s total bullshit that this show never got a fourth season.

Okay 2 questions! Your fave Johnny scenes (because fair is fair) and what’s the one fic you want to write but haven’t?

Hahah ok, let's see.

- his introduction scene w/ Briggs "he's undercover I can't make a sign, can I?".

- Hector's tacos, shit's real

- Cheating by saying all of 1.04. From Charlie tatting him up to the Z-to-A street names for marijuana, it has to be one of my favs of s1.

- When he joins Mike on the Bello op. Hello, those wetsuit scenes and him being 'touched' Mike thought he was dead.

- Pancakes!! And Boxing!! no reasons needed.

- the scene where he helped Sid cross into Mexico/ the strip club and he fired the shots to get his help with Lucia/ show that Carlito wasn't to be trusted.

- The scene where the Gang planned an ambush on the Sarkissian funeral. It was stressful, but overall I loved it.

I can go on and on, but that's the few that came to the top of my head.

& 2nd question! I've been wanting to write (/slowly outlining) a Mick POV that fills in the gap from when he last was shown 1.06 to now & glimpses of him dealing with Brio and their terrible selves.
