ERROR: Unicode/Character sets/UTF-8
As a beginner coder, currently trying to self-learn programming through interning in a start-up. I have picked up many useful practical skills and facts. Yesterday, I came across a bug, which all due to my ignorance in how characters were formed using codes. The software I used apparently did not decode the texts using newly-appreciated UTF-8.
One article (which one of my more helpful colleagues recommended, my thanks to MY) I read about character coding was The Absolute Minimum Every Software Developer Absolutely, Positively Must Know About Unicode and Character Sets (No Excuses!). I definitely recommend this casual read to those who want to know more.
