DNA SWAP PHOTO BOOTH AT GRAD
LIVE PROJECT
At the GRAD gallery London.
FRIDAY 5TH - 8TH JUNE 2015
The final part of a collaborative design project between students from the British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow and Fashion Communication students at Middlesex University which formed the basis for a live project and exhibition at GRAD.
Slashstroke installed a purpose built creative design space that helped illustrate the individual design references from each student and where they crossed over and swapped.
Over the week students and the public continued to explore how design and context can examined and shared.
PUBLIC INTERACTION: A work sheet was provided for the public outlining how their own participation could help the experiment grow. The public were are asked to bring along something personal that represented their creative/cultural DNA, which could then be photocopied, photographed, printed, collaged and combined with other material produced by the public.
