OMG I CAN'T. I HAVE TO SHARE THIS.

You know that feeling when you just accept the fact that you're not going to get an acceptance letter from a school you applied for because your friend already got hers and you didn't receive any. You know how bittersweet that feeling was? Yep, that was me for the last seven days. I already accepted it and was happy that my friend got to the second part of the application (interview). I was fine, you know. All good because there are other law schools out there, positive thinking, optism, all that jazz, I channelled it. And then a week later, BAM! I got a text from said school telling me to come for an interview and I was like BIIIITCCCHHHH????

AND YOU KNOW WHAT'S EVEN MORE AMAZING??? THAT TEXT WAS JUST A CHERRY ON TOP OF AN EPIC 3 SCOOP ICE CREAM SUNDAE FEATURING MY FAVORITE FLAVORS BECAUSE BEFORE SAID TEXT, I GOT A CALL FROM A JOB I WAS APPLYING FOR AND THEY SAID THAT I PASSED THE FINAL INTERVIEW. AND I'M LIKE OH. MY. GOD?!

I'm just so overwhelmed by all this, like, I honestly don't know what I did to deserve this. Very humbled by the experience, tbh. But fingers crossed because it's just an interview and as for the job, I'm still considering it. I have still don't know if I'll be able to balance school and work so there's that. I'm just, I'm really grateful and I'm reminded by *THAT* bieber tweet, you know.

ANYWAYS, that's it for my life update. Also, guess who's graduating in June. This girl. Just wanted to share my happiness.

041019 | Grad-waiting

I was supposed to share this on Facebook but I had too many persons to hide this from so I prefer posting it here instead. Besides, no one would pay attention to it if it’s here.

To be honest, I’m deadass tired of graduation-related questions. “Kelan graduation mo?”, “Tuloy ka na sa June?”. Worst questions – asked/joked by our instructors – are: “Gagraduate ba kayo? Para namang hindi e.”, “May gagraduate ba sa inyo? Parang ang chill nyo lang e. Hindi pa kayo mukhang stressed”.

It’s even more stressful hearing those. I cannot complain if they are bombarding us with so many requirements to be accomplished but is it too much to ask for some encouragement? We’re only months away till the deliberation and we’re slowly breaking down yet you don’t see it just because we don’t look stressed yet. Recently, we filed our application for graduation and we also had our pictorial for graduation picture. “Yan, para mainspire kayo”, she said. But I don’t really feel inspired anymore nor motivated.

Nakakawalang gana na. :(

Yes, the goal right now is to finish college, which I will fulfill this year (cross-fingers). But I don’t think fulfilling it will make me feel satisfied at all, not even an inch. Aside from giving my parents the diploma we both worked hard for, as someone who has extended her stay in college, I wanted to graduate now so that I can finally satisfy my relatives who were also waiting for my long overdue graduation. On top of that, I really wanted to get out of my school. They said when you’re at school, you always want to finish it but when you’re already working, you just want to go back schooling. Probably true but that’s not the case for me. If I didn’t graduate this year, I’ll probably have to transfer school and I am not getting any younger, so are my parents.

Anyway, whatever happens few months from now, sana kahit papaano masabi ko sa sarili ko na “Yessss. After 6.5 years, nakatapos na ako.” Hindi tulad ng nararamdaman ko ngayon na “Gagraduate na ako, sana masaya na mga kamag-anak ko.”

Di ko na talaga alam. Promise.

Ewan ko ba, antagal ko nang gustong ayusin yung sarili ko pero di ko magawa. Yung iseset ko na na dapat gantong oras nageedit na ako. Pero baks, di ko magawa. Mag eedit pa rin ako pag kailangan na, pag kinukuha na sakin yung vid tapos mamromroblema na naman ako kasi antagal magrender. Huhuhu ayoko na sa sarili ko. Nauubos yung oras ko sa wala (kdrama at pusoy dos). Kelan kaya magiging productive yung araw ko. Tapos ilang linggo na lang gragraduate na ako pero di ko pa rin alam kung anong gagawin ko sa buhay ko. Tatanungin nila ako nila lagi nang: oh san mo balak magtrabaho? And i was like: hehehehehe. Di ko pa alam e. God help me please. Penge na rin po ng lovelife. Hukhuk joke lang po. Career lang po muna gusto ko pero kung makulit po talaga siya at hinihiling na niya ako sa buhay niya, ok lang din po. Ako na lang mag aadjust. Hukhuk. 😂

Another day in school.

Salamat, salamat mahal. Wala ka pa ring kupas. Araw-araw lalo pa kitang minamahal, 1050 days na pero kinikilig pa rin ako. Kahit na busy ka, di mo pa rin ako nalilimutan na bigyan ng oras. Minsan talaga tinotoyo lang ako na nag ooverthink pero salamat sa'yo. Sa pang-unawa mo, sa pasensya, at sa lagi mong pagmumukha sakin kung gano mo ako kamahal. Grad-waiting na talaga tayo. Keri on! Isang sem nalang!
