Got my cards back from Beckett!
I'm really happy with the grades! I was expecting to get less, maybe 8s and 7s for the cards. I really just wanted to get them slabbed because they're sentimental to me.
Crystal season Vulpix cards are from a 2018 trip to Japan my family and I went on, and we went to the pokemon center in Tokyo. I picked up the crystal season box because I thought it was really pretty, even though I don't typically collect cards that aren't in the English language. But boy am I happy that I did! The promo cards are just beautiful. ❄️🩵🔥🧡
I also like that the grade labels are color matched to each vulpix lol.
Gold Zekrom is a childhood pull out of a pack from toys-r-us when I was a pre-teen visiting my grandma for the day. When I pulled it I was blown away, and even thought it might be fake because I had never seen or heard of an all gold card before! It makes sense that it got the lowest grade, but an 8 I think is still pretty good for child me not having it properly protected. ⚡
Bubble Mew. Oh boy. First pack of Paldean Fates I had ever opened and there it was. The screams and squeals I done scrumped and squeaked lmao. I pulled it while calling my ld bf, and he heard every noise I made. I'm actually pretty shocked it got a 9.5, cuz there's a paint fleck or two missing on mew's body, and the top edge was a teeny tiny bit miffed outta the pack.
All things considered, I'm just happy they're home and preserved. 💖💕
