grades update: end of 2019
this is more for myself than anything so feel free to skip by
- midyears: 83 (A+) ; first in class
- end of years: 72 (A) ; second/third in class
wow what a leap 🤡 honestly not surprised though, it was definitely harder and i didn't understand the material as well as i did in midyears
- midyears: 99 (A+) ; first in class
- end of years: 94 (A+) ; second in class
i actually expected a lot worse??? i was legitimately shaking while doing the paper and my knees felt weak the whole day. didn't have time to check my paper either whereas midyears' paper was chill. i have high hopes for math and these results are alright :-)
- end of years: 74 (A) (top 10 in class)
wow i am so proud of myself,, look i am not good at chinese at all, i nearly failed in year one but i pulled my marks up from C to A in the span of 1.5years :") never thought this was possible
- midyears (physics): 87.5 (A+) (second in class)
- end of years (biology): 91 (A+) (first in class)
- end of years (chemistry): 91 (A+) (first in class)
OK wow that was not expected at all,, pleasantly surprised??? i'm glad that i put in effort and it paid off. also i enjoy science so:-)
- end of years: 78 (A) (third in class)
i think out of all the subjects this sort of disappointed me the most because i was hoping for 80+ but anyway it wasn't an easy paper so i should forgive myself right 🤡 but i did study really hard for this subject and it's a bit upsetting that it only amounted to an A 😪
- midyears: 56 (C) (second lowest in class LMAO)
this is my worst subject and i was genuinely shocked to get an A????? like ive been continuously scoring terribly for this subject🤡 maybe it was easier this time around or whatever but it feels like my work paid off hehe though ive decided not to take history next year i think this is a good end to my experience studying history.
it's an 80.6% overall 🤩 expected a lot worse considering how i was a mess during the papers. crossing my fingers that it's top 10% in my cohort 🤞
