"Mr. Edwin, you home?" Frith semi gently closed the door behind her. "Totes didn't jus' break in, don't worry..."

The manor looks as if a hurricane had passed through. The walls bore scratch marks by the doors as if something was trying to get out. As for the furniture, it was tipped over. An animalistic sound echoed in the home, drawing closer. 

Edwin appeared just at the end of the hall, eyes alight with crimson and his shirt torn on the arms. He made no attempt to speak but his fangs were bared.

He wasn’t even looking at the child, but he swiveled his entire body to shoot them that look of astonishment, and the sheer amount of flamboyant disgust in his crystal eyes was his only real response to the comment. 

“ Honey, sweetheart, no. There is no “game”. We are not in the same league, ok..? I am a GOD and you are an abomination AGAINST god. This isn’t me playing dirty, I’m just describing how you look from up here... ”

The only reason why Raindrop would be here is putting out the fire. There was a forest fire here but the rain decided to drift by just in time to put it out before it would spread any further then what it was supposed to. Wasn’t malicious behind it, something with how dry it was around here and one thing leading to another to start a small ember to catch the fire. 

The young spirit starts pulling apart one of the burnt trees to help a trapped bird inside. Maybe a broken wing involved as well seeing how the tree has been struck down. The rain will be taking care of the fire while the little girl will help the few animals that’s been left behind.

The evening was generally uneventful. Edwin had gotten off the phone with Percy, having discussed possibly meeting for a laid back hang out to get the vampire’s mind off of his own work. Must be nice to have dozens of employees to do his work for him. Edwin preferred to work closer rather than have a bunch of other people do it for him. He knew what it was like to work under someone who hated lifting a finger.

He wasn’t seeking anyone to feed from tonight. Rather, he wanted to just get fresh air and stretch his legs. The vampire was sated for now and didn’t want to gorge himself if he could help it. Reed would probably be worried either way so it wasn’t a good idea.

Edwin’s mind was buzzing in its own hectic way and he barely noticed something odd. The heartbeats of every person he passed were in his ears but there was a small disturbance. It wasn’t another vampire, rather something more sluggish. Was that...healthy? His gaze lifted to spot the source, a woman who seemed no different from everyone else. He cocked his head to the side and squinted. God he really needed to stop looking so strange when he was in public.
