random life update
Remember me stressing out over interviews and assessments last week? Well, after a week of radio silence, I just got a call today that... I've got the job! 😄 HR asked me if I was expecting their call and I was like, nope, I thought you guys picked someone else, and they laughed (they were incredulous with my response I think) and said that I got the highest score or something 😍 I genuinely thought I blew it before this.
And before this I was also very anxious about the possibility of not graduating because I knew I didn't do well on my dissertation. But today the results got published and... I am! Graduating! Finally an end to months of sleep deprivation because I felt too wired to relax.
Now that's sorted, it's a wake-up call to me to work harder on my sim stories because I won't be able to write for two weeks in December while traveling. ☹
