Go and do it! #graduation #graduatingcollege #livelife #gogetit
Guess what I'm doing today. #animator #graduatingcollege
Where do I even start...? Maybe by the beginning: I started the year by #GraduatingCollege and I obtained my #BachelorDegreeInMarketing, a couple months later and after Josh came back from #BLC we took a well deserved #vacation in #Malta. BLC was a big scary step in our relationship since we had never been separated for an extended period of time. We passed the test and a couple months later he #Proposed to me on top the beautiful #SalèveMountain in #Switzerland. During that weekend I had the honor to #PayMyRespects to the beautiful and oh so talented #AudreyHepburn. The insane part of this eventful year is that I'm now allowed to drive a car on my own. Yes my friends I also got my drivers license... 👀🚙 Soon after that Josh became Sgt Roth and about a month later I became Mrs. Roth. As the year was ending it wasn't necessarily slowing down: my #BestFriend, her dad and I took a trip to #France to meet #StephaneBourgoin. The #FamousWriter interviewed serial killers and helped the police several times. When you think it can't get any better, sometimes, you're wrong: I began working at #BunD, ate #HorsdOeuvres at a #Castle, took a picture with Marie at #DisneylandParis, ate #SugarCookies with long lost #friends and opened presents with my #family. Thank you for everything #2017! I am so thankful for everything you've done for me and my family (the new one and the old one). You will never be forgotten and I pray that #2018 follows your path. 🥂✨
The only podcast you’ll need to be calm with the fact that not knowing what you’re doing after college is inevitable.

You already know what I look like, but you should really come see my work! Final show at #NIU tomorrow night from 6-8 at Gallery 215! #graduatingcollege #queerspace #lgbt #pride #safespace #instillation (at Gallery 215 (4th Street))
Graduating
Can you believe how fast time has flown by? Well, let’s just be honest…yes I did realize because all I ever thought of throughout this undergraduate study was, “I can’t wait to get this over and done with”. But my point is, it felt like only yesterday we were those doe eyed freshmen, moving into the dorms, attending the first lecture and awkwardly trying to be as discrete and friendly as possible. But after a single semester of being stuck with the same faces, the same people, going through all those struggles of “Weh, test masuk apa doh? Aku tak study langsung.” Or the occasional “Aku tak paham soalan pedia ni? Nak tiru sat.” you begin to cherish the people around you, your peers cause at the end of the day, they are the only ones who understand your struggles. College is the time of self-discoveries and a time when long life friendships are built, as much as we want to admit that graduating and finding a place in the real world is the next best thing installed for the future, but you will quickly realize how much you miss your college days. Here I am on the bed in my rented house near campus, with my stuff laying around the house as I pack for my final days in this city I have come to acknowledge as my second home, thinking back on the things I have done in the past 2 years. No more will my friends be living a few blocks away or simply enjoying a good laugh at the café nearby. Those simple memories and inside jokes that will stick by me forever. Sure you will vaguely remember those early morning lectures and how hard it was to find the will to go and the faces of the professors that helped you a lot but most of all you’ll remember those nights you spent wasted hanging out with friends. Those impromptu picnic plans on a Monday night when you have a paper due the next morning. Or those days of hanging out no matter how broke you were and you spent your last 20 and regret it immediately after. Life after college is great, but definitely different. Remember all those late nights you spent partying or pulling all-nighters studying? Yeah, well don’t expect to have too many of those if you plan on finding a successful career, or just feeling good in general. It’s like your body and mind suddenly age 5 years immediately after graduation. You just can’t handle that lifestyle anymore and that’s okay. Your friends will no longer be down the hall or just a short walk away. You will actually have to make strategic plans to spend time with people, and a lot of the time things fall through. In college you may feel down and out if you miss a get together, but once you graduate you will appreciate the down time because you are always just so exhausted. The moral of the story here is to take advantage of the time you have left as a college student. The truth of the matter is that not only will your life and lifestyle change, but you will change too. I’m just making sure to graduate with no regrets and no questions of “what if?”
