All my life, I’ve had issues with balance.  Regardless of the number of calendars I diligently write every detail of my happenings down, or the alarms I set. No matter of the post-it notes I leave, I constantly spread myself too thin.  In most cases, my health is the first to get the brunt of all my juggling.   After waking up on Friday once again, sick with a fever and sore throat, I called my doctor.  Her orders? R&R.  She said; “Baby, I understand you have a lot on your plate, but you ain’t walking across that graduation stage if you are laid up in a hospital bed.  Take the weekend off.  I mean it.”  So, I did.  I rested and spent the weekend having some much-needed fun!  Saturday’s day at the Santa Anita Park, and Universal Studios for Jake’s inaugural visit, and a special stop by Hogwarts!  I’m much better, and thank God I was able to finally get the rest I desperately needed.  I’ll continue to work on making my rest, a priority in the balancing of my life.  I’m going to need it, because we got SEVEN days until finals, and 12 UNTIL GRADUATION, Y’ALL!!!  One (soon-to-be) down and two to go.  Monday, you ready, B?  Let’s go get ‘em!  #Graduation2K18 #HereWeGo (at Universal Studios Hollywood)
