Obligatory post of Harrell-to-Crabtree every Nov. 1 for the rest of time. This was the game that made me fall in love with college football. I still remember everything about the night.

It's hard to believe this was five years ago. I was a junior in high school at a post-homecoming party at my classmate's house. Her dad turned the game on, and all of the guys (plus my date) just gravitated over and watched the final five or six minutes of the fourth quarter. I was transfixed, and this finish was just amazing. No one really had a stake in the game, but we all just appreciated what was happening.

This game also launched somewhat of a love-affair with Mike Leach, who I've been fascinated with ever since. Swing Your Sword was a fantastic read, and he's just crazy. I hope Washington State can get it together soon enough.

But yeah, this finish. I bought this game on iTunes three years ago, and I watch it in its entirety every once in a while (usually when I can't sleep or am taking a plane ride). And I have a 90-minute train ride on tap this afternoon, so it looks like I might be giving it another go.

On a side note, if you're looking for a good November song: "Never Stops" by Deerhunter, Microcastle.

Vince Young's performance in Friday's game versus the Seahawks has apparently earned him a roster spot. The Green Bay Packers are reportedly releasing quarterback Graham Harrell.
