          the  statement  was  simple,  and  straight  to  the  point.  the  woman  sat  beside  the  other  as  she  watched  their  more  rambunctious  and  excitable  friends  practically  bounce  around  the  cafeteria. late  to  whatever  this  absolute  show  was.

          say  what  she  will,  but  she  did  enjoy  their  company.

          however,  that  didn’t  mean  she  would  retract  the  statement.  they  were  still  idiots.  eyes  would  watch  as  something  flew  across  the  cafeteria,  looking  very  much  like  a  figure.

          a  sigh  escaped  her  as  her  snakes  almost  seemed  to  roll  their  eyes  with  her.

OOC. thanks for the feedback! i was kinda lost in which one i preferred. i loved the green tinted ones for awhile, until they got just... a bit too hard to see. i want them to be tasteful, but not eye-straining. ya know?

It had been a difficult decision to make, to reject her crush on date night.  It hadn’t been Miranda’s preference ( she’d been excited about their picnic date all week ,) but in light of recent events, she felt that it was best to take a rain check.

Brian, however, hadn’t been given an explanation by the princess.  In a way, she assumed that he’d connected the dots and would be able to figure it out himself.  But still, it felt like the right thing to do to explain in person.

“Thank you for agreeing to meet with me,” she tapped his shoulder to grab his attention, then offering a little curtsy in greeting.  Maybe a little formal but this was Miranda, after all. “I do hope you don’t feel any comtempt towards me for cancelling.  I thought that a date together wasn’t the wisest thing to partake in at the moment.”
