Sharp, rigid and unrelenting-- Ramesses was no fool to not see it. His stomach churned in abundance. Not out of fright but deep acknowledgement. The Pharaoh was no fool to consider himself unable of recognizing what's before him. A beast, one with a proper mind at that, which could easily be driven into insanity under the right circumstances. “I’m sorry to bother you — “ The woman paused, taking in a sharp breath as she entered the threshold of Berserker’s quarters. Was she really sorry? That was up for debate, but she knew it was only proper to enter a room like that. Proper for someone like her, at least. Someone unassuming and weak; it was best to start out with an apology. “I’m just going to come out and ask: did we get off on the wrong foot? I didn’t mean to do anything to disrespect you. If I did something wrong, please tell me so I can avoid doing it in the future.”

“I’m not scared of you, you know.” It was an odd way to start a conversation, that’s for sure. But anyone else like her— not exactly human, deserved a friend. Her light and carefree tone slipped into a more serious one, “It’s obvious everyone else is, but they’re just spineless. I wouldn’t pay any mind to it if I were you.”
