The question was abrupt and rather harsh of tone. But perhaps Izou did not realize how strange he did look in his straw hat attire. He looked quite like some kind of boogie man with how the shadows covered his face and his eye gleamed murderously red.

”So, uh, yeah.. Thats about it.. It’s not much but, its comfortable enough. I have a futon that you can sleep on, too— Wait, do you guys even need to sleep? I bet not, huh? Ah, doesn’t matter, the futon is there if you wanna use it.” And this would conclude the newfound masters tour of her apartment. There wasn’t much to show, and surprisingly, it wasnt too messy! Though there were a couple pieces of clothing scattered around the room in odd places which she’d scurried to clean up as they went about.

Taking a seat on her desk chair, Katherine eyes the servant somewhat warily, ”Anyways.. You got questions for me? Need anything? Food? Drink?”

Lilac orbs narrowed, lips pulled into a hard line. How had the two come to be paired up for this assignment? A soft sigh rolled off her tongue, distaste clear across her features. Perhaps she was just not meant to mingle with the ruler class, they were too righteous, too holier-than-thou. That didn’t mean she wouldn’t at least try to be cordial, though, if only just for a moment. “If we’re doomed to work together, I’d appreciate if you’d keep the talk of ‘Him’” Her digits moved to make air quotes around the term used for yet another pathetic God. “to a minimum, I have a distaste for deities.”

CURIOUS, THE LANCER observes the priest. his own motivations were not a secret to anyone ( word spread quickly among some that have participated in a grail war ) but the means to achieve it were still a mystery. artoria, however, does not judge. there is only the spark of interest in her eyes.

Go against... His word? The fluster that had turned her cheeks various shades of pink remained, only now a confused expression accompanying it. That couldn’t have been what the Ruler meant, he must have meant... what else? She couldn’t think of an answer for that. Her mouth had grown dry from hanging open, so she pressed her lips together and swallowed. 

“Surely you don’t mean that, Ruler...” a faint chuckle followed her words as she attempted to play off the embarrassment. “I mean, I don’t think I’d ever ask you to go against His word.”
