I like Dadler but I also like Grandadler because I can add the layer of Graves having daddy issues due to a shitty father while having a grandfather who definitely is the reason why that man went missing but no one can prove it

I imagine that Russel Adler would avoid eye contact if someone tried to confront him about something he absolutely without a doubt 100% did.
He just turns away like a guilty dog while they're yelling at him.
If it's in the kitchen, then he just pours himself a glass of whiskey whilst being scolded.
I also believe that this trait was passed on to his son (Graves)
Adler can have the meanest poker face known to man. But he has a single tell: He won't look someone in the eye if he's lying or if he's guilty of something. Not everyone ever noticed this so he got away from some shit. Graves? His poker face maybe isn't as solid as he would like, sometimes he can't help but smile. But he does possess that same little tell that always will give him away if someone knows about it. Eyes unable to focus on anything, he won't make eye contact. But he carries himself to confidently that it doesn't come off as nervous.
