I took photos of Cloud's box, so I added him in the haul, although he is a September release and arrived a few days earlier (when I posted him). There's an extreme close up because he truly is the most beautiful one so far (IMHO). I own a few of the earlier versions, not the first version of the Remake, but the AC one and a few of the original Play Arts (w/o the Kai) by Kotobukiya. This one is probably my favorite so far, the sculpt is perfect, it would only be more beautiful if the paint apps were cleaner and the hair had been lightly painted. at the roots to add depth.

Oh-nice-an-chubby-baaabeeey arrived today! I was waiting until this Grandista figure was Stateside, so I didn’t have to pay an absurd double the cost to import. $40 is enough. 

Foot parts require minor assembly, but easy to slide into his stubby peglegs. Without their base, he’s essentially the same height as the 25th anniversary light-up statues - distance of them in these photos might play tricks on your eyes, but they are basically equal. Less metallic shine, but better face. Big Boy restaurant mascot style, or not. XD

Don’t know if I really care for the weird ‘folds’ in his boot armor, but sure, whatever. Makes more sense and looks good on the chest and legs, but why the boots? Pretend it’s scuff marks or something, I guess? But I would have preferred just leaving that area smooth, myself. 

Regardless, I really like this cool, oversized happy chubby baaabeeey figure!
