Appreciation post for my Gramma, the infamous Judy White, who is still working full time at 82, in great health and the most awesome gramma in the world. Also the only person in my entire family I share any aspect of my appearance with (honestly, thank the lord I got these genes) and the woman I hope to be like someday. She will never see this because she thinks this "new fangled" internet stuff isn't for her, but no worries because I let her know all the time how awesome she is to me.

One time, I went to visit my grandma at her apartment before covid. Since I don’t have a key to get in the side door, I had to go in through the lobby door. At this time there were many of the other seniors eating a late lunch. And just to explain myself, I have almost a full sleeve and many other tattoos and that day happened to be wearing a tank top. From behind me, I heard an older woman say VERY loudly “well I guess they just let anyone in here, don’t they?” I turn around and she’s staring at me.

I get up to Grandmas room and I tell her what happened downstairs, and I shit you not, Grandma looked me dead in the face and said “fuck em, I think your tattoos are beautiful and you’re beautiful” well damn grandma, just fuck me up
