1956-12-23 SvD Alright, so here’s a pretty major one that blew my mind. If you ever felt like the Fir Tree doesn’t really fit into the other stories of Tales from Moominvalley, there is high credence to that. Turns out, the final story was not at all written for the 1962 book, but was originally an independent short story published back in 1956. Not at all sure if it was written for SvD or if they just reprinted it from elsewhere, but it predates the rest of the book with six years, and it shows. The lighthearted comedic tone, cast and overall structure of Moominvalley in the tale is more in line with the newspaper strip. Snorkmaiden was also more or less completely irrelevant by 1962 except this story, so take this as even more validation for the Moomin x Snufkin ship, haha. Honestly, wouldn’t be surprised if Cedric also turned out to predate the book, that one is extremely suspect now with the inclusion of then long-forgotten character Sniff and overall sloppy structure. (It’s basically the one story in the book I don’t care for at all, so it could just be bias.) Guess I’ll have to go update Wikipedia.

Wat is kamut en welke invloed heeft het op onze gezondheid?

Idag har det varit julpyssel för hela slanten. Alla rum är inredda med små #tomtar, glitter och julstrumpor hänger redo. Det blir rejält mycket roligare nu när barnen har åsikter om vad som blir bäst kring julen. 👍🏻 Dessutom hann de uppträda med en snabbteater lagom till de tröttnade på tomtar. 😘Nu är det dags för Ture Sventon, som just kommit ut på C-More. Fredagskvällen är räddad, vi sitter alla klistrade framför #skärmen efter allt pysslande. 😀👍 ”bara” #granen kvar nu...
