wow, I just went through my WIP folder and there’s so much stuff in there that I abandoned it’s a true tragedy.

a short glimpse of what you’re missing out on:

a Grantaire/Enjolras christmas oneshot where G is really Into Christmas and Enj rages about it because it’s all Capitalist Crap

a huge football AU for my favorite German soap pairing Lenny/Carsten

a really smutty BDSM Steve/Bucky fic that’s basically canon compliant and is set all through the events of First Avenger and Winter Soldier

an entirely impossible rewrite of TRC set in Hogwarts, including Slytherin Adam Parrish, squib Blue Sargent, school ghost Noah Czerny, and loads of Pynch goodness

A huuuuuuuuge McPriceley college AU that’s very dark and also has asexual gay Kevin Price because THAT’S MY LIFE (seriously, only two or three more chapters and that thing would be complete WHY am I so weak)

a comforting fic about Bucky’s healing process in which he builds a pillow fort with Steve, they listen to electro swing and Steve shows Bucky his sketch book

the whole PoA retold from Remus Lupin’s pov because I love him to much and I need people to understand

also a shitload of notes on a fic whose working title is “WOLFSTAR SLOW BURN PARENTING GOODNESS - THE FIC” in which Sirius ends up kidnapping Harry after Lily and James get killed and Remus has to help him raise Harry while simultaneously clearing Sirius’s name and it’s just endless mutual pining

an awesome Pynch Fake Dating AU with the working title “Let’s Just File This Under ‘Catastrophe’ And Call It A Day” - yes it’s as epic as it sounds.

You obviously haven’t noticed the sexual tension I’ve been maintaining with R for… ever since he started coming to meetings.

I read a lot evil insensitive Enjolras and worshipping dog Grantaire but Do people really not realize that in Enjolras and his lieutenants it was Enjolras who believed in Grantaire and gave him an occasion to prove himself, and Grantaire who made fun of Enjolras ('I'll polish your boots', just another taunt, same as 'what fine marble' and 'don't worry') and then didn't even try to help him at the Barriere du Maine (as much as we know) It's so obvious it's in the movie too; Enjolras tells the boys not to drink too much, and Grantaire drinks looking straight at him.  Grantaire does whatever the fuck he wants, and he does it with joy if it's against Enjolras' orders. He likes to irritate him. That's how he seeks attention. Does he get angry with himself for it? Maybe. But his semi-depression and alcoholism don't change the facts. If you try to deny the fact that Grantaire behaved like an asshole with Enjolras many times, despite the fact that he always loved him I'm gonna hit you in the head with the brick so hard

Let me explain to you why Because I want you is one of the best Placebo songs for exr. Fall into you, is all I seem to do.. When i hit the bottle, cause I'm afraid to be alone. Tear us in two, is all it seems to do.. As the anger fades, this house is no longer a home, These lines explain themselves. 'It' that tears them in two must be thought as the revolution, Enjolras' revolutionaty ideas. And I like to see the house as both Musain and the final barricade. Don't give up on the dream, don't give up on the wanting, and everything that's true. Don't give up on the dream, don't give up on the wanting Because I want you too, because I want you too, because I want you too, because I want you, because I want you.

These are the most important lines in the song. Grantaire is speaking, and he's telling Enjolras not to quit his dreams - because we know Grantaire loves his character, loves his charm and the way his ideas and his passions burn into him, but maybe most of all Grantaire knows Paris needs Enjolras, France needs him.  But, on another note, he wants him to drop everything. He wants Enjolras to give up his stupid useless ideas, because they will kill him, and his death will be pointless. So he says don't give up only because I want you to. And why does he want him to give up? Because he loves him, as a person, more than his ideas, more than his revolution. Because he wants him. Grantaire truly is a blessed character because when you find yourself in that very familiar situation in which you love someone but that person doesn't love you back, you know that at least Grantaire feels you and your pain and can comfort you with a bottle of wine and speeches about mythology.
