Was supposed to treat my brother’s family to a meal at Astons Specialities so we agreed to meet at Sembawang Shopping Centre. But only my brother and my niece came while my sister-in-law was not feeling well so she stayed home to look after the two younger nephews. We ordered our food at the cashier but bro insisted on footing the bill. We each got a Snapple (S$3.50++), his Pink Lemonade and me Grapeade.
Niece went for the Meatballs Spaghetti (S$9.90++) which I also had recently. Not sure if the tomato sauce is still overly sour or not but she finished every strand of the spaghetti so it must be good enough for her. Mum stuck to her tried and tested Crispy Fried Fish (S$11.50++) with the same side dishes to boot.
Bro and me chose the Double Up Chicken (S$16++) for double the fun. :D You get to choose the two chicken from below. He picked Black Pepper and Chargrilled Chicken with mushroom sauce and Potato Salad plus Coleslaw for sides. As for me, I got the Black Pepper and Crispy Fried Chicken together with Garden Veggie and Potato Salad.
