i’ve been waiting ages to talk about mall omg … so um giant infodump sorry!! yay ! ,,

basically it takes place in an abandoned mall, and it’s called coMpete forA Lot ofmoneyL because soda can really wanted the name to have the acronym MALL but couldn’t think of anything decent, so it ended up a bit fudged..

before the show, soda can and coffee ended up caught in a situation which left soda can with powers granting him electricity related abilities, telekinesis, teleportation, flight, and the ability to conjure up illusions/mirage type things!! they wanted to give coffee some of his power but she didn’t want it at all, but she trusts soda can as her best friend enough to trust him with the powers..

so when the two wanted to start an object show, they find the mall and decide to host there, and since this mall is extremely far from the nearest city, soda can uses his powers and sends out “flyers” into the city which find random objects (or not so random?), and get them to agree to join the show, with the vague promise of, well, a lot of moneyl, and are teleported to the mall !

i recently updated the cast actually so this is perfect to show them all off !! this finally got me to make an updated lineup lmao😭

exit sign is more of an assistant than a host, but she basically does everything in the show. security, cleaning, setting up challenges, etc!! he doesnt mind all the work, they enjoy keeping themselves busy and being helpful. (mostly because everyone else is incompetent..)

coffee and soda can are the hosts!! they are very different from each other lol, soda can is extremely energetic and excitable while coffee is more stoic and irritable, but they are very close friends ! soda can is mostly the main host, but coffee definitely does her fair share as well.

now the contestants! candy yogurt doesn’t say much but is usually pretty blunt and awkward..

red is extremely bossy and competitive but is very motherly to her teammates and cares deeply for them despite her demeanor :)

dandelion is very oblivious and air headed most of the time, but he’s a sweetheart who has a special interest in bugs, and brown sugar is his best and childhood friend who he’s very close with and pretty protective of ! he’s also friends with graph and mood ring

idrk how to explain graph erm…. also he’s kinda small in the lineup ugh kill me um he’s usually very rational and calm but he does get pissed off often.. he hates his full name and doesn’t really like nicknames either. he bickers and fights with his half brother king a LOT but he desperately tries to get them to get along to little avail. friends with dandelion and mood ring !!

mood ring is very anxious and emotional but he’s trying his best.. got a big fat crush on skateboard even tho that man is NOT good for him at all 😭 graph and dandelion try to tell him to run the other way but he does not listen😭😭

skateboard ! he was actually my first object oc but he’s one of the newest characters in this cast lol, he’s very grumpy and kinda mean. he has bandages all over his arms and legs because he gets hurt REALLY easily which is part of the reason he’s always pissed.. also a closeted bisexual who REFUSES to admit he likes men

cone is a bit of a brat, she’s very childish and kind of annoying but i love her a lot ..

keychain is very loyal but extremely stubborn and tough, and strangely eager to fight things ?? she really likes adventure. flashlight is her partner :)

flashlight is very friendly and naturally a great leader !! super humble about their abilities but everyone agrees they are the leader of their team and are very capable!! (except king, but he doesn’t count). keychain is their girlfriend !

brown sugar!!!! very sweet but super shy and anxious, and pretty clumsy, just an absolute girlfailure😭. she loves pink and writing fanfiction. although a lot of the fanfictions are about her friends/the other contestants which is kinda a weird.. she’s also coffee’s cousin, but they are very close and would consider themselves sisters!!

king!!! acts very extravagantly and self-absorbed, but he’s mostly just a silly idiot- thinks he’s very charming so he tries to gain some kind of advantage in the competition by attempting to “woo” coffee, (she can see through his obvious plan and refuses to fall for it) but at some point through his advances, he genuinely starts to like her- him acting like he’s better than everyone and getting into fights constantly has left him with few people in the competition who actually like him, which he pretends he isn’t affected by

mini fridge is super sassy and likes to make jokes about everything, and is absurdly strong. usually has some kind of energy drink on her even though she’s like super tiny and can’t really fit anything inside her ?? and trapper is her dog! it only listens to mini fridge and is kinda hyper, and can easily become aggressive, but they’re a good dog!!

and last but not least coral!! a very famous popstar who goes by coral reef ! she’s nice and she means well, but they really only care about themselves and winning the money she was promised and maintaining her fame.. king is very jealous of them for being actually popular

..this made me realize how many characters are actually in my show.. sorry again for so much text i actually had to cut out a lot i wanted to say too omg 😭 but yeah.. i like my guys🥹
