The old bucket of water on top of a door trick- classic and hilarious.

Except this time, it wasn’t water. It was glitter.

Stanley had been fixing his tie in the mirror, smiling as he gave himself a thumbs up, and turned to walk through the door to welcome the first group of tourists-

When all of a sudden, he was covered head to toe with glitter, and the bucket stayed where it was, covering his eyes. The old man’s voice echoed throughout the entire house.“MABEL!”

Her threat only seemed to make the old man laugh harder. He clutched his stomach in a feeble attempt to catch his breath, holding on to the nearest thing he could find, which happened to be the door.

Once he finally got it under control again, he put his hands to his hips and leaned down towards her. Always the competitive type, he wasn’t about to back down from what could potentially be a prank war. He’d been saving some things for a time like this and she had given him an indirect excuse to try them.

“I’m so scared,” he replied sarcastically, “you caught me off guard once, kid. Don’t think you’ll be able to do it again.”

Okay, that was unfair. But Stan had no choice in the matter. He took the glitter from his niece, shooting her a look (definitely going to have to come up with something to get back at her this time), removed the fez, and poured the sparkly silver glitter onto his head.

It blended in nicely to his hair. Not that he would appreciate such a thing.

She’d only been a few days into fighting boredom, her greatest enemy, before Glossaryck had given her a location to go and leave him be. Apparently opening the spell book repeatedly saying, ‘bored. bored. bored. so bored.’ was enough to get on the wizard’s nerves to get him to try and shut her up. 

Immediately she was bouncing and gathering everything she may need in her backpack. It took some time squishing the mace in but once she was ready, she grinned and cut open a portal with her scissors. Keeping the place her little companion had mentioned in mind, she stepped through and squealed at the large ‘Gravity Falls’ sign. She’d made it to the right place and it was time to go exploring!

She didn’t need to look too long before she found something interesting. Running up to a brunette that looked a bit younger than her, she spoke happily, “Is that a grappling hook? I’ve always seen then in movies but never in real life.” Since she had magic, she really had no need to get one but that still didn’t diminish how awesome she found it.
