Hoppy New Year: Tropical grass frogs can be found from the southern United States to South America. Tadpoles that hatch from foam nests remain in the nests (without eating!) until they develop into frogs.
I met two frogs in the woods yesterday
The big one let me get very close
Look at his golden eyes!!
He was just chilling
The smaller one was a bit scared and left after a few pictures
little creature of the day: Little Grass Frog
it’s literally in their name

Enjoy the lovely shape of this growling grass frog [Ranoidea raniformis], a species native to southeastern Australia. The males’ call is a deep, strangled groan, and females have the ability to hiss when threatened. Images by Grey Smith.
