Since I’m the first to complain about something (that’s just what I do as my profession conditioned me this way...you know, being picky for my clients and expecting excellence) therefore I will also be the first to give credit where it’s due. THE US POST OFFICE shocked me with goodness yesterday!!! Over the top customer service! Was expecting an important package (something edible for a lunch meeting). Went to pick it up hoping i might catch it before it left for delivery. It wasn’t there BUT i explained the situation and the kind representative (another surprise) messaged the carrier and arranged to have her meet me on the SPOT with it! What!? This normally does NOT happen! She and her assistant carrier couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating! They were also wanting some of that amazing Mardi Gras King Cake in the box but i had somewhere to be with it! Afterwards I went home with leftovers and waited for my mail delivery and presented both of them with King Cake on a plate! They were happy.
