Do you allow yourself to focus on your Best - case Scenario over your worst? We can change our entire life around if we allow ourselves to focus on the good in life even when its difficult. I remember there were many times in my life when it was very hard and difficult to reach for gratitude. So I started a gratitude practice to help me. This very simple thing of creating a gratitude practice changed my entire life and view of reality. I frequently think about that time and how incredible the power of our words truly are. It was around that time, I just had my first son at one month old, I was on maternity leave, I had to drop out of college, my man lost his job, we literally started from NOTHING, we drastically had to make so many lifestyle shifts, I was so torn on what to do, But long story short, I turned to Gratitude and my entire LIFE began to change. And its been shifting at a rapid rate ever since that moment 7 years ago. Gratitude can be powerful. Focusing on the good in many moments of uncertainty, doubt, dread, fear, anguish, is hard at first but it will begin to physically shift, alter and change your life, the more you actively believe it can. But we all have a choice you see, we can choose to focus on the good and our best case scenario or we can choose our worst case scenario & rely on fear to steer us forward. Gratitude allows us to magnify the good & focus on our Higher truth. Many people who follow my work over time probably know how passionate I am about gratitude challenges. I've hosted a few over the years but what's so cool about gratitude is its so much more than rote writing thankyous. It's about Embodying the feeling of focusing on what you have and what you desire to have as already real. there are numerous studies that focusing on gratitude in our bodies increases longevity, better health, sex life, helps people who struggle with mental health & even physically changes the brain. So I invite you as we go into a somewhat difficult socially distanced holiday to turn to gratitude.
